By: Solange_Desc1 Security researchers have discovered a new software bug known as the “Bash Bug” or “Shellshock,” or to those more technically “in-the-know” as GNU Bash Remote Code Execution Vulnerability (CVE-2014-6271)(link is external). Midsummer Patch Tuesday (or midwinter, depending on your latitude) takes place on Tuesday 11 June 2013. As you probably already know, Microsoft publishes an official Advance Notification each month to give you early warning of what's coming. These early notifications generally don't give any details, summarizing only the basics, such as:
